Chairish Room Challenge

I was recently contacted to participate in a room challenge by Chairish, have you heard of them? It's a super cool site where you can buy and sell furniture. This is a dream come true for my unhealthy mid century modern obsession! The challenge was to take an accent chair found on their site and design a whole room around it fitting in the theme "White to Bright." Again, total dream! My whole apartment is "White to Bright." I envision this room with white walls and the furniture and accessories adding all the color! Below is what I came up with.

Christmas Colors

When you think of Christmas colors you, I'm guessing, immediately think of red and green. Red and Green are classic and always look great for the season, but are you wanting something a little different? Today I've complied a few different color schemes that are modern, bight, and still festive to inspire your decor this year.

I love the "peacock blue" with the hints of red in this one!

Hello! Isn't the mint with the black and white chevron amazing! This color is so inspiring to me, in fact it inspired this card. I am CRAZY about this!

Have you seen work by Emily Henderson from HGTV? The girl in a genius! You have to see her globe snowmen, who thinks of that? She does! This color scheme is based off of her holiday special on HGTV, check it out!!

I've gone Mad

That's right, I've gone mad and I have been dying to blog about it! A few weeks ago while we were in Utah my cousin Brittney and I snuck away to the mall to buy the hubs a b-day present. That's when it happened. While sprinting through the mall before closing time we flew past Banana Republic and with only minutes to spare I slowed down to stare at the window signage. They have created a Mad Men collection, and it is to die for! Have you seen it? It is gorg and I want every stinking piece in the collection (hello houndstooth print). Look at the perfectly tailored suit for the men, I think I would fall for the hubs all over in that suit.

Unfortunately only the collection for men is still available, but it is still worth checking out.

obsession

I'd like to introduce you to my latest obsession! Aren't they cute? I'm lovin the zipper. For the last week I have been dreaming about these sandals and everything that I could wear them with. They are from BC Footwear and are a little pricey, but have you ever had a pair of BC shoes? I have a pair of their wedges that I bought about four years ago and they are still going strong plus they are way comfortable, so I wouldn't feel so bad investing in these babies.
